Study Structure and University:
The dual study program in mechanical engineering lasts 6 semesters, i.e., a total of 3 years. Theoretical and practical phases alternate, with the theoretical phases lasting 12 weeks and the length of the practical phases varying. At the end of each theoretical phase, students are assessed through exams. In addition to exams, scientific papers are required, consisting of several project reports and the final Bachelor’s thesis. An international exchange program is offered by the university, and during the practical phase at Gawronski, a twelve-week stay at our branch in Poland is planned to gain international experience.
The theoretical foundations are acquired at DHBW Karlsruhe.
Future Prospects:
Our graduates can find opportunities in a wide range of fields after completing their studies. They may work in construction, development, or project management. Depending on their interests and skills, a career in sales is also possible, as our products require a high level of technical understanding.

Your Future Responsibilities:
- Commissioning, maintenance, repair, and training in the field
- Assisting in the assembly and testing of prototypes in-house
- Communicating with customers

Your Profile:
- Completed mechanical or electrical engineering training, such as industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, electrician, or a comparable qualification
